"A building launch with a ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held for The Art of Newark, with celebrity chef Chef Kelvin Fernandez and local vendors, such as DJ Bunker, in attendance. An art exhibition, curated by multi-disciplinary artist Melida Rodas, was also featured at the launch to showcase local talent.
The art exhibition was part of The Art of Newark’s initiative to support local artists through displaying their artwork throughout the building. Stunning artwork by local artists, poets and educators, such as Danielle Scott, Anthony Boone, Scott Harbison, Marina Carreira, Sarah Mueller, Cecilia Martinez, Buttered Roll, Robert Sinclair, Raul Garcia, Luisa Fernanda Pinzon-Romero, Bryant Small and Jay Neyland, were on display for attendees to enjoy."
