Melida’s residency included performing poetry & producing events blending Poetry / Art / Music / Projection Mapping / Light Murals under the banner of Destination Art Space. Founded by Melida, DAS is dedicated to fostering connections across neighborhoods, cultures, and artistic genres while promoting poetry as a means to cultivate more empathetic communities. Events are often scheduled to coincide with JC Fridays, significant holidays and city wide festivals such as JCAST. Projection mapping, poetry and light murals serve as the back drop for these immersive experiences.  @destinationartsspace
